"Since I was young I have always made it a priority to be presentable to anyone with whom I might come face to face. It came naturally to me. So, as I grew up, I also began to enjoy pampering myself at spas around the world. Soon enough I began to appreciate the benefits of regular spa treatments, not only to give me a well-balanced body on the outside, but also to ensure that what was going on superficially, was also continuing inside me.

I guess, ultimately, it was only natural that, as I pondered over which field of business to pursue, a spa came to mind almost immediately. It has, after all, always been a passion for me.” So in 2005, between travels to her homes in Hong Kong, Singapore and the Philippines, En began to convert into reality all the conceptualising that had been going on in her mind - a spa facility combining the best treatments, therapies and products gathered from her many travel experiences.

This was to be no mean feat and in the early stages was a major challenge. To create the authentic Asian retreat she had envisioned, meant transporting shipload after shipload of furniture and relics from India, Thailand and Indonesia, and of course from distant parts of our country – The Philippines, whilst at the same time also personally sourcing natural ingredients such as herbs, spices and oils. " I had to see for myself where the ingredients came from and how they were formulated. I have always been meticulous about beauty and health products and why not? Anything that touches my skin must be beneficial, not harmful, to the skin". And so it is that, now, Boracay can proudly boast of a world-class spa that is truly the world coming together for beauty. It is a rich fusion of Asian influences all meant to enhance wellness and rejuvenation.
